Found in 1978, Fuchun Industry Development Co., Ltd was moved to Shenzhen in 1998. In 2005, in the process of state-owned enterprise reform, our company has conglomeration and merger with GANZHOU COMPLETE SETS OF POWER GENERATING EQUIPMENTS MACNUFACTRE CO., LTD, dealing with all export projects, especially Complete Sets of Power Generating Equipments including design, manufacture, installation and operation supervision, training. Our factory has over 50 years experience in hydro power equipment manufacturing activities. We continue to hold the Fuchun’s philosophy-adding product value, keeping good quality and providing good service.

Our factory occupies 560,000 square meters of land, which includes 18 workshops, over 320 sets of heavy and precision producing and testing machinery; scientific research development center in the southern China, and various testing facilities. We have a general technical staff of 380 and 135 senior technical professionals. Our company already has the capability producing 800,000kW hydroelectric power generation complete equipments per year. Our wide spectrum of products includes: hydraulic turbine and generator sets which including different types to suit water head 3-1300m. Like Axial-flow or Kaplan, tubular (bulb tubular, extensional shaft tubular turbine), Francis turbine, Impulse turbine ( Pelton & Turgo type). The single generator capacity that we can make is from 55Kw to 100Mw, voltage from 400V to 13800V, equipped with applicable excitation system and control panels.

Pelton who invented it in 1880,also called a free-jet turbine or Pelton wheel, a type of Impulse turbine, named after L. A.Water passes through nozzles and strikes spoon-shaped buckets or cups arranged on the periphery of a runner, which causes the runner to rotate, producing mechanical energy. The runner is fixed on a shaft, and the rotational motion of the turbine is transmitted by the shaft to a generator. The nozzle and runner of Pelton Hydro Turbine is on the same plane, the jet direction is tangent line of runner circumference. Water from penstock is transformed into high-speed water column to inject bucket of runner, rotate the runner and work. The main shaft rotates the generator to generate electricity. The runner is above the water, excavation due to cavitation is unnecessary; the cavitation friction is less than other type turbines. The efficiency under partial load is higher. It needn’t draft tube, spiral case and complex distributor, the construction is simple, maintenance and management is convenient. The deflector can extend the closing time of needle, increase the water hammer effective. It is favorable for power plant with high water head and long diversion steel pipe. Its operation is reliable and no damage to the environment.
